Oyster Creek Inn Restaurant And Boat Bar
It was a busy Wednesday evening in July and we arrived with a large group, including a toddler, around 6 pm. It took a good 30 minutes before we were seated and it was easy enough to entertain the toddler by walking around the property. Once seated service was quick and efficient. The food at Oyster Creek is American Seafood. Much of it is broiled or fried and they do an excellent job at it. We enjoyed the chowder and several appetizers, especially the oysters. The lobster was a favorite and so where the loaded fries. No room for desert after that much richness
Crab Shack Brigantine
Great food. Fast and delicious. Fresh!
Pros: Fast, fresh, fried
Cons: Outdoor seating only
On July 26th, 2017 we stopped at the Crab Shack in Brigantine for a late lunch. It was around 3 pm and nobody else was there.
We arrived as a large group of about 8 and yet service was fast. We ordered a variety of menu items, most of them fried, all of it delicious.
It's outdoor seating only. About four or five tables and benches. Should be enough seating even during a busy lunch rush.
The birds wanting our food provided ample entertainment for our toddler
Overall, we enjoyed our visit to the Crab Shack and will be back on our next trip to Brigantine.
Resort Burger Bar
We descended upon the Burger Bar at the Resorts Casino for a late lunch on a warm Thursday afternoon in July.
Arriving as large group of nine adults plus one toddler, they were able to seat us quickly. Drinks arrived promptly and orders were taken
We received our appetizers of wings and onion rings, and shortly after our burger, fish, salads, and sandwiches.
Everything is standard American pub fare. The food was good, nothing to rave about and yet nothing to complain about either
Golden Nugget Casino Buffet
It may look like your average casino buffet, and the Golden Nugget Buffet is exactly that
We arrived for a late lunch on a busy Friday afternoon with a large group. We were seated quickly and then made our way down the buffet.
There's nothing that stands out about the food. As expected, the usual items found at a casino buffet where found. Crab legs were abundant and enjoyed by several members of our group.
Our youngest member, at two years old, really enjoyed eating the corn on the cob and devoured several in a short amount of time
The Golden Nugget Buffet is like any other American Casino Buffet and if you happen to be there a good choice for lunch, however there is no reason to go out of your way to eat here
